Invalda INVL informs about early redemption of EUR 10 million note issue
Invalda INVL, the leading Baltic asset management group, has decided to redeem the entire EUR 10 million note issue ahead of schedule, placed in June 2024. The notes are due to mature on 14 June 2027, but the company will exercise its right of early redemption and will pay all amounts due to investors on 10 September 2026.
The decision was taken by the Management Board of Invalda INVL. The main reason is that the company has more cash than it currently requires for its planned investments.
“We have sufficient free funds to repay this debt to investors ahead of schedule. This reduces the company’s financing costs and maintains sufficient capital for our investment plans”, says Darius Šulnis, CEO of Invalda INVL.
Noteholders will receive the full nominal value — EUR 1,000 for each of the 10,000 notes — together with interest accrued up to the redemption date but not yet paid. Investors were notified of the decision no later than 30 calendar days before the scheduled redemption date, in accordance with the terms of the notes’ prospectus. Following redemption, the notes will be removed from the Baltic Bond List of Nasdaq Vilnius.
This was Invalda INVL’s first public offering of notes. Demand for the notes exceeded supply by 2.9 times. The notes were acquired by 216 retail and institutional investors from the Baltics. Retail investors were allocated 63.8% of all notes placed, while institutional investors received 36.2%.
“When we issued the notes, we said that Invalda INVL aims to have diversified sources of debt capital and to give all investors operating in the Baltic States, including retail investors, the opportunity to invest. That commitment has not changed — we may return to the capital markets again in the future”, says D. Šulnis.
