Preliminary consolidated result of activity of Sanitas AB group for 2007 – net profit of LTL 44.162 m. (€ 12.790 m.), that is 28.8 percent more then forecasted. The major reason for better result was profit tax reveral in December, which came as a result of profit tax recalculation assessing all deferred tax assets (benefits) that formed in 2007.
EBITDA totalled to LTL 105.400 m. (€ 30.526 m.) and it confirms forecasts of Sanitas AB.
International Standard Interpretation Committee issued interpretation on sales‘ discounts recognition in financial statements. Based on this interpretation operating expenses for the year 2007 were reduced by LTL 7.5 million and the same amount was accounted for as sales discounts thus reducing revenue. Consolidated sales of Sanitas group during 2007 amounted to LTL 335.4 million (4.2% less than planned) and differs from the indications given earlier due to the reasons above.
