Laura Križinauskienė will be a new CEO of INVL Asset Management, a subsidiary of Invalda INVL

As of 2 October, INVL Asset Management, one of the leading asset management companies in Lithuania, will be led by 35-year-old Laura Križinauskienė, who will replace Darius Šulnis, who remains the Chairman of the Management Board.

On 4 September the Bank of Lithuania issued an authorisation to hold the position of the CEO of INVL Asset Management. Upon receiving appropriate permissions of supervisory authorities, L. Križinauskienė will also serve in the Management Board of financial brokerage company INVL Finasta and in the Supervisory Board of Latvian INVL Asset Management.

“Asset management is a strategic business of Invalda INVL group. We have been expanding rapidly over the past few years – we have been acquiring and consolidating the market, and we have been growing organically. Now is the right time to pass on the management of the operational asset management business activity to an energetic, experienced, process and result oriented manager. I believe that professionalism and personal qualities of Laura will contribute to the qualitative and quantitative growth of the asset management business of Invalda INVL group," – D. Šulnis said.

L. Križinauskienė worked in the Finasta Group in 2004-2012, later she was appointed as CEO and Member of the Board at the Energy Exchange Baltpool, and from May 2016 she was a Head of Global Function in Danske Bank Group Services and headed teams in Lithuania and Denmark.

"This is a great example when a person, having started his career in Invalda INVL group from one of the first steps, thanks to his talent, ability to improve and determination, grows up to a leader's position," D. Sulnis said.

Križinauskienė said.

D. Šulnis intends to continue working with the strategic goals of Invalda INVL group and focus on private equity business. "At present, we are creating EUR 200 million value fund that would implement companies’ acquisitions and growth finance deals. I intend to be one of the active members of the team of this fund", – D.Sulnis said.

The Invalda INVL group currently manages a total of more than 20 mutual, real-estate and pension funds (2nd and 3rd pillar), alternative investments and individual portfolios, and private equity and other financial instruments. Companies of the group engaged in asset management manage over 540 million euros of assets entrusted to them by more than 180,000 clients in Lithuania and Latvia as well as international investors.
