BAIP group: BAIP contributed to the development of Intermedix centre in Lithuania

Critical IT infrastructure company BAIP equipped 200 workplaces for American healthcare technology company Intermedix Corporation, that opened it’s service centre in Kaunas this year. The centre will provide various technology solutions for US healthcare institutions.

The Lithuanian centre was established in order to optimise company’s services and to provide efficient solutions for clients. It’s local division Intermedix Lietuva chose BAIP as one of it’s main IT suppliers. BAIP provided and installed workplace hardware and software, servers and network equipment. Intermedix chose Dell products. BAIP is an Authorized Service Provider for Dell.

“The project is quite exceptional in Lithuania, because it is based on virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI). Such workstations are equipped with only with monitor and keyboard. All data and operational systems run on the centralized server. Such solution is quite rare in our country, but it is very contemporary, ensures data security, simplifies maintenance and administration of workstations and optimises server resources”, – says Mr Gytis Umantas, CEO at BAIP.

“We are very happy about our cooperation with BAIP that meets most of hardware and software needs. BAIP completely meets our expectations as the main IT supplier”, – said Mr Lukas Jankauskas, Intermedix Director for Shared Services.

Intermedix provides global services for healthcare system and technical solutions for rescue services. The company operates in 18 countries, employs about 2 thousand people and is represented in 27 USA cities. Intermedix opened it’s first international service centre in Kaunas this year.
